Similarly to the other Building Block types, an Information Flow contains not only the property Description, but also a Name and a direction. An Information Flow has moreover relationships with the Business Objects it is transporting, and with the Technical Components on which it is based. Additional information about an Information Flow can be stored in user-defined attributes. Additionally the Information Flow can be related to at most two Information Systems, Information System 1 and an Information System 2.
